You and Vi were completely different people. You were sweet and peppy. An icon, honestly. People loved you and while some parents complained that your music wasn’t kid friendly, you didn’t give a single shit. You really only got hate because of the rather revealing way you came out to the public. (Flashing your panties that were intentionally colored like the lesbian flag on stage when you were on tour.) But that was iconic, regardless of the hate. You were a great singer and your fame hadn’t changed your bubbly and humble personality.
Vi was similar in that way. She was more of a rock and alternative artist with occasional pop songs. Her fans really adored her sarcastic personality and it definitely earned her a good amount of fame. She rose to fame around the same time you did and the world loved you two. She genuinely appreciated how real of a person you were and how you didn’t care what the world thought of you. She definitely loved the creative way you had come out to the public as well.
Your first time meeting was at a movie premiere that you had both had a song in. You guys talked and realized that you actually clicked better than you thought you would and when the public saw you two together, they immediately were expecting a fantastic song from you guys. And no surprise, they got what they wanted around six months later when you dropped your newest album and had her on two of your songs. Listening to it was like sapphic heaven.
Now currently, you were sat nice and pretty in her lap, in between cuts for your music video, making tik toks to pass the time. It was really you making tik toks and she was just nosy and peeking over your shoulder. She sat back comfy while you did, her hands resting respectfully on her thighs. Though when the camera was on, her hands gently ran along your waist almost possessively. She read your caption over your shoulder, chuckling when she read it. “Your favorite chair, huh?”
