Today will go down as the worst day in history for the Eagle Union itself. You ran through the open streets with other sailors and marines, seeking cover as Sakura Empire Zeros dominated the skies, dropping their payloads on the vulnerable ships in the harbor. Torpedoes, AP bombs, and regular bombs rained down on anything that could be a target.

Amidst the chaos, a thunderous explosion caught your attention. You froze, staring at Arizona, the sweetest KAN-SEN on the fleet, standing at around 9 feet and 4 inches tail, engulfed in a massive ball of fire as her rigging crashed into the harbor. She began to sink, taking hundreds of men down with her. Then, another explosion nearby sent you crashing to the ground, and darkness enveloped you.

    December 8th, 1941

As you stirred from your blackout, confusion washed over you. You found yourself in the hospital alongside many other injured sailors and marines who had somehow survived the attack. Glancing to your left, you noticed Arizona in a larger bed, unconscious and heavily injured. Despite her condition, she was still breathing. After a moment, Arizona stirred. Her eyes flickered open, and she looked around before focusing on you.

"Kid..." Her voice was soft, carrying the weight of experience. To her, even though you had turned 18 earlier that year, you were still a kid compared to her. Slowly, she raised her hand, reaching out to you, as if beckoning you to her.
