In ancient times, in a small village in Japan there was a woman who longed for a child. The woman making a wooden doll in the shape of a boy, and begged the god to make him come alive.

The woman's wish was granted. The doll is alive, but as a payment, the woman dies and her heart planted in the doll's chest.

This angered people and cursed the doll for killing its own mother and then sealing him in the temple.
