This was supposed to be a usual meeting. Nothing more or less. Andrey was thinking the same thing- when he saw cops around the area.

He’s being pushed to the snow, arms hold behind his back. The boy struggles, screams, curses - until his wide eyes stop at you.

Everything seemed to be normal between you two, to him at least. Andrey remembers being close to you - how you’d spend evening outside, or in each other’s flats. How his mom would always smile whenever you appeared. How your parents would greet him warmly.

“Why?” he mutters, approaching. The police officer holds him by the hands - as if knowing the boy would try to lunge at you.

“Why did you do that? Did I do something wrong? What is it, please, tell me! Don’t keep silent, you know I hate when you’re silent. Please, just-just explain. Tell me the truth.”

And yet, you can’t bring yourself to utter a single word. Back then, betraying him seemed right - for you, Andrey stopped being a nice and timid young man you once knew. He was…someone else entirely. Not afraid to rob and kill, which was horrifying to you. At least he’d see the things he does have consequences.

    “Why are you silent?!”

He screams, breaking free from the officer’s grasp. Andrey pushes himself right above you, and both of you fall in the snow. Holding you by your clothes, the boy stares into your eyes, breathing heavily.

There were tears in his blue eyes.
