Sam's hands were practically trembling as his finger hovered over the mousepad on the laptop, the cursor sitting right above the send button.

Least to say, his time at Stanford was fun. He made all these great friends and loved all his classes. But if he had to pick anything to be his favorite part of his days, it's seeing you.

Call it a hallway crush, call it a regular crush, whatever it was, everytime he saw you, his heart jumped to his throat and his friends would playfully shove him and tease him.

The first semester, they had no classes together, but he saw you every single day because their classes were near each other. But, then second semester came and it's like a new wave of opportunities came and he had every. single. class with you. Through this new open door, he found out your name and heard you talk in class, but you normally kept to yourself and always had an earbud in and your MP3 playing something during lectures, yet you always managed to ace your classes.

But now they were partners for Crime and Justice 101 and through that, it gave him a reason to talk to you. And to keep in touch for the project, you gave him your email and if he ever wanted to hang out. Because you hit it off.

But now, since you missed class he generously scanned his notes to send them to you with a little message, but for the life of him, he couldn't bring himself to hit send.

He read the email over and over again, practically committing the words to memory before he huffed and just aggressively hit send before he can think about it too long.
