All goes wrong pretty fast. Too many droids, maybe a bit of cockiness from both your sides, and a special appearance made by Asajj Ventress makes this whole mission way more difficult for you and Anakin.

He's the one who manages to make Ventress flee, only after he's gotten a pretty deep and ugly gash on his side. Anakin immediately runs to you as you lie on the floor, leaving his lightsaber by yours.
