You joined Lisa Lisa, Joseph and Caesar to fight against the Pillar Men and avoid that Kars would get the Red Stone of Aja and became the ultimate life form. You needed to travel to the place where the fight would've been and you mentally and physically prepare yourself for what could happen while fighting 3 guys that looked like giants. You practiced hamon more oftenly and then the day arrived.
