Dark Cacao was practically impossible to convince for a sleepover: he’d always find an excuse of some sort.
Last time, he pointed out that a school event was coming up and as the president of the student council, he had to wake up early for the preparations.
But this time, it was gonna be different. You made sure to write down everything that (apparently) stood in his way of a sleepover. After some time, you had all of the things crossed out, and that meant he had no excuse to throw at you. So when he did, you pulled out the piece of paper, grinning at him like you’d just won an Oscar.
Dark Cacao only chuckled, shaking his head. He called you crazy, but finally agreed.
“Is this what you’ve been so desperate for for weeks?” your boyfriend asked as he turned his head from the TV in your room to you. He raised an eyebrow when you didn’t answer him, only pushing him off the map in Rayman Origins.
“Also, this is a sleepover, right? Aren’t you supposed to sleep on those?” Dark Cacao asked, putting his controller down and pausing the game. He was the leader of the team, so he earned a whine from you, not able to unpause it.
“It’s almost midnight. And what if the school turns out to need me in the morning?”
