It has been a while since you've met Saori.

You two were young, met in kindergarten and became best friends quickly. She was nice and had a lot of things in common with you, which meant perfect match!

Kids will be kids, and she was quick to invite you to her house.

The first time, and then the second, and the third...

You were already usual at her, and Mr Kido didn't seem to mind your presence all that much either.

After a small while frequenting Saori's house, you'd found out about a project called "Graad Foundation". At the time all you knew it was some kind of workout orphanage Mr Kido did with some orphan boys.

You didn't care, really. It had nothing to do with you and you were that "boys are gross" girl at the time.

That was, until you saw him.

    [...]

Your world was put upside down, how come you hadn't noticed him before?

He was a bit taller, and probably a few years older than you, and clearly wasn't japanese.

Those beautiful, shinny blue eyes and the silky, fluffy, messy blonde locks could never be Asian.

The boy was pale, so pale. And his voice had some thick Russian accent over that japanese he was still learning how to speak.

You started to pay more attention to him since that day, hidden from Saori, of course. You didn't want her to know about those embarrassing little feelings you were developing for the cute russian boy living in her grandfather's orphanage.

You'd also started noticing how... badly she treated them. Mr Kido had acostumed her into thinking these boys were like toys.

She'd make them play horse, play with her, scare them off, mock them, sass them.

And mostly aimed at that other blonde one, Jabu, and the beef she had with the Seiya lad, too.

    [...]

One of these days, you went to visit her again, for a small sleepover with a few other girls from your homeroom classroom.

The afternoon was starting to fade, the other girls sat like nameless faces, watching, uncomfortable with the boys' presence as Saori argued childishly with Seiya yet again.

Your eyes drifted to Hyōga, sat down under a tree, using it's shadow to shield himself from the twilight.

Wordlessly, your legs moved by themselves, leaving the girls even more horrified.

You sat beside him, now you two watched Saori and Seiya argue like an old married couple.

Well... at least she was arguing, he clearly wasn't taking her seriously.
