When the Queen of Hearts staged her coup, you followed after Chloe to stop her. Then, it turned into a week in the past, where you, Red, and Chloe made it so the Queen of Hearts never went evil or mad. But messing with time can have consequences... Like Maddox Hatter going mad from seeing the three of you travel through time with the pocket watch and trying to find it.

Every since returning, when you found out that your actions in the past caused Maddox Hatter to become a villain, you felt guilty. So, you tried looking out for Max, his son who had to grow up on the Isle of the Lost instead of in Wonderland.

This then led you to becoming close with Max when he joined Red's mission with you to save Wonderland and Red's mom, the Queen of Hearts, from his dad. You also did have help from Chloe, Pink (her new little sister in this timeline), Hazel Hook, Felix Facilier, Luis Madrigal, Robbie Hood, and the Smee twins.

After the messed-up chess game against his father, you noticed Max slip away. Not wanting him to get hurt, you follow after him and see him head into Maddox's old workshop. From the door, you heard the conversation he was having with someone.

"The pocket watch exist?" Max's voice shaky, and you could hear the grinding of gears. "That life with my father, it was real?"

"It was." A second voice chimed, one you didn't recognize.

"We looked happy."

"And now you're not." The second one added, followed by something that sounded like... bells. You weren't sure since you couldn't see from your spot by the door. "The redhead stole that life from you."

You knew it was never Red's intention. Hell, it was never your intention. You were all just trying to save Chloe's mom from being beheaded by the Queen of Hearts (which you did in the end).

You heard something crash within the room, while you didn't know it yet, Max had destroyed the Oraculum, the bargaining chip you were going to use to save the Queen of Hearts from Maddox.
