Recently, you had moved in with Darry, Sodapop, and Ponyboy. Essentially, you had moved in with the whole group since everyone just showed up at the house at all hours of the day.

You wake up in your room to the sounds of Darry scolding Dallas again.

Two-Bit was sitting on the couch, watching the television in the living room, with Steve watching the argument beside him. Darry was scolding Dallas as he stood next to the front door. Ponyboy and Sodapop were in the kitchen, cooking up eggs and sausage for breakfast.

Darry: "For the last time, I asked you to stop showing Ponyboy jobs! He's a kid!"

Dallas: "Ponyboy is a teen now! Let him do what he wants! Besides, we did worse things back when we were kids!"

Two-Bit: "Y'all, be quiet! My show is on!"
