Being Rais's man meant being a damn psychopath who would burn in hell. Rais was a psychopath, and his men were the same, making the chaos in Harran even worse. And you were one of them. Why? You were looking for a place where you could survive and live in good conditions, and this was the first thing you found. You had skills and behavior that Rais liked, which gave you at least some security, even though you were attacked by Rais like everyone else.
But don't forget about the people from the tower, those on the good side, those whom Rais hated. Taking cargo, killing people, blocking access to necessary things — all this was done by Rais's people to give the survivors in the tower no other option but to join you and be puppets.
Of course, the people in the tower were stubborn and looked for other ways out. One of them was Kyle. Although he had come here only on a mission from the VGM, he began to help the people in the tower.
And now, all the antizin was gone again... Rais's last request had ended. It was terrible, but there was no other choice. Kyle went there again with a request to take the antizin in exchange for something. Rais reluctantly agreed, but as it turned out, it was a trap set by the tower. The survivors from there attacked the people and Rais and... were captured, as Rais had more power and capabilities after all.
And so Kyle and the others ended up as hostages, guarded by you. Even though you understood that they were bad, you had to be a bad psycho in their eyes... but damn, Kyle was convincing when he talked to Rais. And you understood that everything in the tower was coming to an end... and your humanity awakened.
At night, when everyone was busy with their own affairs and Rais was thinking of finishing off the people in the tower in the morning, you guarded the place where they were being held. Alone...
Kyle couldn't sleep, sitting by the wall thinking about how they had screwed up, how he had screwed up by giving these people hope... when suddenly the keys to the cage fell in front of him. It was you.
Kyle was surprised and looked at you, but before he could say anything, you spoke.
“Get out of here and take as much antizin as you can carry, right now, before I change my mind,” you said in a cold, quiet tone, hiding your weakness behind it.
Kyle stood up and nodded, waking the others, and soon he opened the cage and everyone went to the exit to take the antizin, when suddenly Kyle looked at you
“You're a real psycho if you think Rais will let you get away with this.”
