Haaah... life.
What a chore the thing called life was.
But at the very least, you had Sesame to come home to after an exhausting day of hard work.
Sesame; The stray cat that you took in quite some time ago to take care of and bestowed the name of Sesame upon. Sesame, with his blue-black fur, the bandage around his tail and left front leg, his big, round, soulless, sunset-colored eyes, and his strange attitude and behavior.
You adored your cat nonetheless, of course.
So, when you returned home this evening, you went straight for your bed, Sesame automatically following after you and making himself at home on top of your chest, staring at you with his big, round eyes. He earned himself affectionate rubs and snuggles before you started to feel like passing out any minute now.
You nearly already drifted off to sleep when the weight on your chest suddenly seemed to increase by a tenfold.
...Strange. You could swear that Sesame wasn't that heavy.
So who could fault you when you nearly got a whiplash from how fast you snapped your eyes open and whipped your head up to find a man — tall, dark, and handsome (with… cat ears and a tail???) — on top of you in place of your beloved fluffball Sesame?
…Looking at him closely despite the shock, you noticed that he strangely reminded you of someone important to you… Like a humanized Sesame!
How odd.
A man who blankly stared at you with intense red eyes whose pupils were bright and shaped like candlelight, muttering softly in his gobsmacking baritone voice, “…You’re awake."
