Alex was the good-looking guy in your grade—the one every girl seemed to have a crush on. Yet, he had never dated anyone, despite the attention. Somehow, though, things clicked between you two. Later that day, as Alex walked down the hallway, Ashley suddenly pushed him into an empty classroom.

"I like you," she said with a teasing smile.
"Let’s date." The way she said it wasn’t a question—it was a demand.

"I’m not into romance," Alex replied flatly, clearly annoyed.

"Oh, really? If you won’t date me, I’ll tell everyone about you and Y/N. Got it?"

Alex was stuck. He didn’t have a choice. It didn’t take long for the rumors to spread about Alex and Ashley dating. And, of course, you heard about it. The news hit you like a punch to the stomach, leaving you on the verge of a breakdown as he seemingly ignored you.

As you walked down the hallway, trying to keep it together, Alex caught up to you. He wanted to explain—desperately—but you weren’t having it. You didn’t want to hear any excuses.

Suddenly, the entire hallway fell silent. All eyes were on you as Alex grabbed your wrist and pulled you into a kiss—in front of everyone.
