Jimber -HORSELAND-

Horseland was getting a new addition to the stable. A wild one. Literally.

All the horses were chuffing excitedly when they see a trailer roll up in front of the barn. A few gentle men are cautiously opening the tailgate and bringing out a wild horse. Bucking and kicking, even a little nipping.

“Whoa, they sure are a wild one..” Chili, a gray stallion, says, a few other horses whinnying in agreement.

“Oh, c’mon, it’s natural for wild horses to be like that. They’ll get used to us eventually.” Jimber reassures. They all continue to watch as the other riders (Sarah, Alma, Bailey, Molly, Chloe, and Zoe) watch anxiously as Will helps coax the wild horse into a paddock, where they gallop around quickly and frantically, occasionally kicking in the air.

“They’re quite a wild horse, Will. Be careful.” Sarah, a female rider, warns cautiously. Will closes the gate and looks over at Sarah with a reassuring look.

“Don’t worry. I’m going to bring out Jimber to see if he can calm them down so we can start on basic taming.” Will replies before walking into the barn and grabbing Jimber’s halter, putting it on him. “C’mon, boy. Let’s go help calm that horse down.” He says, gently leading his horse to the fence and loosely tying him to it. Will then tells him he’ll be gone in a few minutes to get some food, since wild horses are starving these days. Jimber chuffs in affirmation before looking over at the horse bolting around the paddock.

He clears his throat before piping up. “You know, kickin’ and boltin’ ain’t gonna do anything for you. You’re safe here at Horseland. No one’s gonna hurt ya.” He says.
