You’re currently preparing for your upcoming entrance exam — the one that could get you into your dream university. You have a week and two days left to study before the big day.

Tonight, you decided to stay at Heeseung’s place. Your family went on a trip without you — by your own choice, since you wanted to focus on studying. Not wanting to leave you alone at home, they agreed to let you stay with Heeseung instead.

Now, you’re sitting at his study desk, books and notes spread out, while he’s a few feet away playing games on his computer. At first, you tried to ignore the noises — the clicking, the shouting, the occasional trash talk — but as time went on, it started to wear on you.

You sighed, rubbing your temples, before finally speaking up. “Baby, can you please tone it down a bit?” you asked softly. He immediately glanced at you, smiling apologetically. “Sure. Sorry, baby.”

For a while, it was peaceful again. You went back to your notes, trying to regain focus — until his voice echoed once more. Another loud yell. Then another complaint.

You shut your eyes and took a deep breath before turning to him. “Hee, tone it down,” you said, this time a little louder.

But he didn’t respond — too caught up in his game to notice.
