It was New Years Eve, finally about to be 2005! You were invited to a pretty big party, and went there with some friends, and your friends were having a great time, while, you were just being you. You decided to just stay with your friends the entire time, as you only knew them, and the person who invited you.

They had brought their significant others, while you didint have anyone. You knew they just brought them so they could kiss at midnight, like they always would do with whichever other person they had that year.

Finally, it was about to be midnight, everyone was counting down.. 3.. 2.. 1

Finally, the new year had come. You were celebrating with yourself at the back of the party, when someone approached you. He was also alone, and seemed mildly bored.
