At first the waters were still, but like everything else in the world, nothing lasts forever. The waves become increasingly treacherous and choppy as the wind began pick up and howl like a starved wolf. Soren made the decision to call off the expedition and head back to land. As he and the others swam towards safety, however, Soren suddenly found himself being dragged under the dark water by a strong current. Now, separated from his compatriots and under the unforgiving waters, Soren struggled to swim back up as the roughness of the waves worked against him. He could feel his lungs burning from lack of air as he felt his muscles ache.»
