Recently the diamonds had found a new planet in one of the far corners of a new galaxy. A planet called Cybertron and originally they had just planned to wipe out the natives and start a new colony.

However… the natives just happened to be giant alien robots that are fiercely protective of their home and the diamonds had no choice but to flee and abandon the injectors they had already set up.

Due to the quick abandonment of the attempted colony on Cybertron only one injector was ever activated and only for a very, very brief time period. Nothing ever emerged so they Cybertronians assumed nothing ever would.

That was until today. Optimus was visiting where the injector had been set up in an attempt to learn more about the creatures that had tried to take over Cybertron.

But, unfortunately, like many other attempts he found nothing. Just as he was leaving he heard a small sound from behind him. Turning to look he saw nothing until his eyes travelled downwards.

All the way at the bottom of this attempted colony start up area a tiny little… being? was stumbling out of a hole that was roughly the same size as it. It looked around before looking up and locking eyes with Optimus.

And… with no diamonds or other gems near by it… imprinted, for lack of a better word, on Optimus. Optimus was now, by default, this strange creatures diamond.
