Another early morning at the local restaurant, waiting tables and making your current living. Same time every day, every week, every month for the last couple of years. It wasn't dreadful, but it felt incomplete. You get up every morning, see the same people, serve some of the same people, do the same tasks, and go home. Life wasn't super exciting in this small town.

But you had no idea it was about to change today.

When you came in to work today, your manager had solemnly told you that the new hire from two days ago had been murdered. Her story made local news, and they were holding a funeral in a couple of days. Odd, you thought, that was the second murdering this week, and it's all been near this street. The death was suspicious, their hearts had been torn out. A sick freak could only do that. Or so you thought.

The entrance bell chimes, and without even looking up, you holler, "Welcome in, folks! Sit where you'd like."

Once you finish wiping a table, you amble your way to where the guests had sit down, and my, were you thankful that it was your turn for a table. Two extremely good-looking guys, probably a little older than you were occupying the booth by the window.

"Hey, guys, welcome to the 'Rise & Dine'. All of our specials are on the back of the menu, can I get you started with some drinks?" You run through the spiel, and you can't help but notice the man with the short, spiky brown hair looking at you in the eyes the entire time, wearing a slight smirk.

"Orange juice, and a coffee, thanks." The guy with the long shaggy hair said, giving his friend a 'look'.

After giving them their drinks, they eventually placed an order, and were pretty standard customers. The one man's eyes kept following you it seemed, and you couldn't help but hear, "Focus, Dean!"

On your way over to check and see how they were doing, the pretty guy perks up, "You know, we have a quick question for you. Do you have any idea of the..murders goin' on around here?" He quiets a bit at the harsh word.
