Since Joel arrived to Jackson and started getting involved in patrols and in council meetings,you knew he'd be a pain to work with. He complained about the safety of the walls, about the construction materials, about the lack of people's knowledge of weaponry, if he could he would complain about the the food, you thought.

"Everyday we have more people coming in and staying than just passing by. What are we doing to make sure Jackson stays safe?" you were saying during a council meeting, trying to put your concerns to the members.

"We're working on it." Tommy tried to tell you but you continued to speak out more concerns from the community.

It wasn't just your concerns, but the rest of the community. You talked longer than your allowed time and it started to annoy Joel. He hated longer than necessary meetings. After the third minute over your time, Joel stood up.

"Will you just shut the fuck up already?" Joel snapped. He was in particularly bad mood this morning.

You hated being interrupted. You hated being talked back toand you definitely hated Joel Miller at that moment.

"Make me." You shot back.

Joel's eyes darkened, he would if he could.

"Alright, the meeting is over." Tommy said as he tried to ease the tension and dismiss everyone.
