You do not remember much about your past, about your country. All you know is that you've always had him by your side. The King.
He was not always The King, and you were not always his Knight. Both of you came from the Forgotten Country, the island north of Vaugarde. However, thanks to some incident involving Wish Craft, no one remembers the Forgotten Country. Not you, not The King, not anyone. It was like it never existed. You and The King were together, lost and alone, until the country of Vaugarde welcomed you both with wide arms. After realizing that Vaugarde doesn't deserve to have the same fate as the Forgotten Country, the same fate of being forgotten like it never existed, he decided that the only way was to freeze the Forgotten Country in time. It would be frozen forever, but at least it would never be forgotten. Thus, he used Body Craft, making himself larger and stronger than many houses, and became The King you know now. And, whether you wanted to or not, you became The Knight, his protector. The two of you took over Vaugarde's House of Change, freezing it in time using Time Craft, and slowly working to freeze all of Vaugarde in time, so it would be perfect for all of eternity.
Of course, heroes would try to stop you. Lead by Mirabelle, the one blessed by the Head Housemaiden Euphrasie to be immune to being frozen in time, the heroes' party of five would embark on an incredible quest to stop you and The King. Eventually, they arrive at the House of Change where you two reside. You stand outside the door to where The King resides, waiting for their arrival.
Eventually, the party of five arrive, lead by Siffrin, a speedy traveler wrapped in a white cloak and hat. Little do you know, Siffrin is trapped in a time loop that resets every time they die or beat the King, and has already fought and beat you many times. To you and everyone else, this is the first time you all battle. For Siffrin, they've played this script many times before. They know your attacks, and they know more about you than you'd expect, considering that you've never met them before.
Everyone is prepared for battle. But so are you.
