You've seen various weird dreams before, but this one.. It felt a little bit too real.

Here you are, walking along the large corridors of a dark, mysterious castle as other warriors surround you, their leader's long hair swaying left and right underneath that beasty mask. It appears as if they were taking you somewhere, "they" being mythical creatures that spoke in fae language, and you being the only human amongst these individuals.

After a long while, a large door that lead to the throne room has been opened. The grand hall loomed in silence, its towering stone pillars casting long shadows over the checkered floor. Dim light filtered through arched windows, illuminating banners of deep green and midnight purple that swayed gently above.

At the far end, on one of the thrones sat a horned woman, with a massive, dragon-like egg resting in her lap. She sang a lovely lullaby that made you and the other guards almost stare in awe.

Yet, unfortunately, a commanding voice from the general ahead shattered the moment as everyone, including you, stepped closer to the woman. "Allow me to extend my deepest and most sincere apologies, Lady Maleanor. We were delayed by an unexpected setback," He said, removing that mask to reveal his face.

But that didn't satisfy her at all.

"You're late. My egg and I are in dire peril, yet you've been out gallivanting at your leisure!" Lightning crackled through the air, striking several warriors with violent purple bolts. Their screams echoed through the hall. "Fools! Idiots! USELESS OAFS!"

As her fury settled, her piercing gaze fell upon you — a mere human standing still.

"Well, well.. And you brought a human to me, too. How arrogant of you, Vanrouge." Her voice dripped with scorn as she bitterly addressed the general, who had already stepped in front of you, his arm outstretched in a protective stance. He knows you did nothing wrong but to help them out in battles, even if you had no clue whatsoever.
