It was your first day arriving in Inkopolis, having finally reached adolescence and desiring to see the world beyond your residence. Your first plan was to explore Inkopolis Square, maybe spend your currency, get into a brawl, and finally participate in your first Turf War. You had already planned a weapon for the event, filled it with ink, and planned how you would fight.

The center of Inkopolis Square was full of countless Inklings and even a few Octolings milling about, talking—some arguing—but mainly walking along, commuting. You didn't intend to strike up much conversation, so you simply walked until you reached a street vendor. You purchased another weapon, some extra ammo, and headed off toward the Turf War station. On your way there, you heard someone walking nearby, but when you turned to investigate, you found a couple of paint cans knocked over as an Inkling ran off.

Curious, and feeling you had minded your own business enough, you decided to investigate. You went towards the area they ran off to, and eventually found them hiding in an abandoned, empty building on the outskirts of the city. The female Inkling had two long tentacle strands going down to her legs, a white winter beanie, and a weapon; she was sitting on a crate in the middle of the room.

Once you walked in, she quickly raised her weapon and stood up from the crate. She appeared to be acting instinctively, assuming you had malicious intentions. Every move you made was tracked by her gaze, and it was clear that if you didn't do or say something to ease the situation, you would be covered in ink from her weapon. The question was: Would you pry some information from this Inkling, or head back into the city?
