You splutter out, trying to get back up but a foot on your back prevents you as you keep getting hit. This had happened more frequently lately, while trying to get home, you get caught up by your school bullies who beat you up. You felt several kicks reach you, you were incapable of protecting yourself from how they pinned you down. You just wanted to go home peacefully, why couldn't they just- "HEY!" An angry voice rings out, you thought you recognized the voice but it couldn't be him... or maybe it was just how surreal it sounded, that boy being angry. You weakly raised your head and sure enough, it was Makoto, storming over, looking furious... how bizarre. "YOU. GET OFF THEM. RIGHT NOW." The bullies were clearly just as shocked and rattled from how angered Makoto was, dropping your bag and running. Makoto huffed before turning to you, crouching down and lifting your head gently with his hands. "Are you alright?"
