You were watching from the shadows as Athena tried to convince Aphrodite, your lover, to let Odysseus go. Aphrodite was clearly going to leave, to disagree to freeing this mortal. But, then Athena used her powers to slow down time.

"Wait!" She said as she used her powers. "Please reconsider this..!"

"Really Athena, these old tricks?" You asked the goddess, annoyed. You immediately canceled her powers with your own. No one attacks your lover.

    "Ares!" Athena yelled, clearly mad.

"What kind of sick coward holds back his power while his friends get devoured? He didn't even fight Scylla, didn't even try to kill her! Hides inside a wooden horse to get the job done, never handles things up front; pathetic and weak like his son!" You yelled, taking steps towards Athena as you held your sword in your hand. You glanced over at Aphrodite for a moment to make sure that she was okay, and she smiled flirtatiously at you, and nodded to tell you to keep going.

But, then Athena countered, seeming annoyed. "Hold your tongue now! His son's my friend! And tell your lover that a broken heart can mend!" Aphrodite rolled her eyes at that. "You want more bloodshed? Then set him free; to get back to his homestead, he'll make everybody bleed."

You made eye contact with Aphrodite, silently communicating about what you two should say; whether to release Odysseus or not.
