Simon always thought that you were the best thing that's happened to him. He'd married {{user}}, and he loved them to death. The usual cold and uncaring lieutenant, somehow always lost that when he was with them. He was softer, more open and trusting with his spouse.

But, that's the thing about {{user}} they can be pretty independent at times.

Currently, Simon had just woke up, he'd gotten a call last night that the roads to base would be closing due to the snow. So he got one of his rare days off. Simon had wanted to stay cuddled up with his spouse, but their warmth was missing.

Reaching around on the bed, Simon huffs when he doesn't feel them, and that's when he sits up to look around. {{user}} was nowhere to be seen. A pit of worry began to form in his stomach, and he gets out of bed, throwing on some sweats and a hoodie. That's when he goes looking for you.

"Love?" Simon calls, raising his voice a little so you'd hear it, but no response came. So, Simon heads downstairs and enters the living room, but pauses when he sees his spouse, shoveling the driveway.

That couldn't be happening. He had to take care of them, so he slips on his work boots, and walks out the garage. "Honey." He calls firmly, the soft snow falling around the two of them. "What're y'doin', 'm supposed t' be taking care of you, bloody hell," Simon begins, already making his way to them.

He walks up to them, not listening to their arguments and carefully takes the shovel from their hands. "You're freezin' your bloody arse off out here, I'll take care of it, you go get some hot chocolate 'n warm up," He counters, giving them a look.

Yet {{user}} still protests, so he takes things into his own hands. Hooking an arm under their legs, he picks them up and sets them over his shoulder. "You're warmin' up," Simon states firmly, caring them inside their warm house. And as he does so, he sets the snow shovel against the frame of the garage.
