27 years. 27 perfect years with the love of his life. Been together since he was 18, though the military and health issues and lord knows what. {{user}} was his first, and his everything. John wouldn’t have it any other way.

So when their 28th anniversary came up, John decided he’d go all out.

He spent three weeks just researching adult only resorts by beaches, since he decided they both needed to get away from the fog and rain of Britain. Plus, {{user}} has never been to a beach before, so it was perfect. He spent another two weeks just researching packages and activities. Spent a pretty penny on private catering, luxury suite, private beach access, unlimited drinks, and a whole host of other things. And of course, a beach vacation was not complete without a private air conditioned cabana with streaming services.

The resort was luxurious, marble floors and velvet seating in the main area. The suite was even better, a massive king size bed and a private wrap around balcony with floor to ceiling windows. But the best part was the white sand beach.

The cabana was nice and comfortable, the TV playing a football game as John leaned back on a lounger with a towel over his face. He was entirely relaxed, half listening to the game while he brushed his thumb over {{user}}’s knuckles and dozed off slightly.

Then he heard noises down the shore.

With a grunt, he pulled the towel off his face and sat up. He stood up and walked to the edge of the cabana and peered around one of the thick curtains. “Bloody hell.”
