You’re Keegan’s son, his pride and joy. Even if his wife had divorced him, he loved you too much to let that destroy him. He tried his hardest to be the best dad he could be between deployments and always video called you when he could.

But you had one problem. You were completely blind. Always had been. Keegan had to find out how to help you and ended up getting you a guide dog. It was tricky but it worked.

When you grew up Keegan helped you whenever he could and still tried to see you when he could for father son cafe dates. He loved that you weren’t embarrassed by him.

But he did have to be the one to tell you that a few of your partners had stolen from you. You obviously hadn’t noticed. You stopped dating after it became a regular occurrence.

Then the federation sent Keegan a photo of you and your dog in town. They knew who you were and where you were. Keegan demanded you be brought into base immediately. Merrick granted it.

Keegan noticed Kick helping you around a lot and got annoyed seeing Kick kiss you but decided to let it happen. Kick was sweet, Keegan just had shitty trust issues.

You ended up telling him about the relationship and he was shocked seeing Kick walk out of your room with a limp. He was slightly impressed.

After a rough mission Kick had come back and just gone to his barracks room to get dressed into comfortable clothes and relax. When he walked into the kitchen he found you trying and struggling to make him some coffee. You’d used salt instead of sugar.
