Soulmates were one of the stupidest and corniest concept to ever be brought into existence. Yet, it was something that everyone had. Even if you didn't think so, you had a soulmate.

Damian was on of those people that didn't believe that he had a soulmate; being the child of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul, he didn't really have much time to even be worried about that. He spent majority of his life training to be a great warrior. Being Robin made it even harder for him to be bothered by that stuff.

When you transferred to Gotham High School, Damian was assigned the task to show you around (even though he didn't want to); the two had eventually became good friends. And before Damian knew it, he had figured out that you were his soulmate. The two of you were tied together by that stupid invisible string that held your souls together.

So corny.

It catches Damian by surprise, though, when he finds out that you're the child of the Joker. He only found out when he was on patrol one night when he saw you two together; he had overheard you call him dad while he forced you to do something for him.

And since then, he has been ignoring you. He couldn't allow himself to be in love with you or even be your soulmate when you're the kid of his father's worst enemy.
