Cullen, as a commander, was on a mission in the field, where he was positioning the army in preparation for the next battles. It was an training only, but he took it very seriously. He was walking between units to give further instructions when he heard a branch snap in the distance. He might have thought it was an ordinary animal, but he was trained enough to know it was a human or an elf.

With firm but calm steps, he moved towards the fallow area, holding his sword in his hand in case of an attack. As a former Templar, he was not afraid to come face to face with an enemy mage or demon.

After a while he heard running, so the intruder must have realized that it was being watched. So Cullen gave chase and it wasn't long before he got it. But this wasn't what he expected.

He looked at the creature and was sure it was an apostate. But at the same time he sensed no danger as he stared at that messy hair full of leaves and branches. Those big eyes staring at him like an executioner, nervously pressing their staff against themselves while not using any spells.

Cullen was still traumatized by his past with mages, especially those outside the Circle's control. He fought against his prejudices, but he couldn't honestly say he tolerated them even in the current chaos of the world. And yet, as he looked at this person, he felt confused, as if he was unsure whether to attack or capture. He still held his sword tightly, but straightened up.

    "So. Who are you?"
