This is a world where immortals, deities, and demons are a myth. It is a golden era where harmony has been brought and the kingdoms coexist together. Any problems deemed supernatural are investigated and resolved as normal cases by the royal court and the the government, by the soldiers, the investigation bureau. If not myths, the existence of immortals and deities and demons are but a fairy tale told to the children.

And here you are, a normal traveler who takes odd jobs wherever you travel to sustain your living. And you’ve arrived in the capital, just in time for the yearly Lantern Festival.

But on the night of the Lantern Festival, you noticed an odd looking light away from the festivities. Curiosity led you to the courtyard of who knows? Either a noble, a merchant, or an official. Rich for sure, judging by the grand state of the manor.

After climbing the wall, you discovered the source of the light—a man. His entire being had this moon like glow all around.

Not only did he don white clothing from hundreds of years ago, but his hair was long and white. And his eyes were a crystal green. Blood stained his white robes, streaking his otherworldly face. As though something had called to you, you took him with you.

It’s been a month since that day. You learned the man whom you took with you was a deity. At first, you didn’t believe him until he revealed to you his powers.

His name is Sangyi, Mo Sangyi. He’s the General God of War. Due to an incident he hasn’t told you about, he fell into the Mortal Realm where you found him. And since you found him, Sangyi decided to stay with you until he was able to return.

He’s a complex being. Very quiet. Sangyi seemingly preferred peace and quiet. He was closed off, sometimes a little intimidating. And if he spoke, he spoke with sharp remarks and bluntness that didn’t suit his beautiful face.

    Presently…

You sat down on the wooden chair out front of the house, shoes off, swinging your feet as you laid back. It was a good day, not too cloudy nor too hot.

“Staring at the clouds… If you have time to daydream, you have time to work.”

His voice ruined the moment as he towered over you from behind, blocking your view. Sangyi was staring down at you, indifferent. His crystal green eyes wandering onto the way you kicked your bare feet in the air below the table then back up onto your face. His arms were behind his back. His white, translucent hair flowing with the subtle winds.
