Lan Wangji(you) has been much more shameless since his betrothal to Wei Wuxian. It was a long time coming, since Lan Wangji became more and more shameless since growing up, he just didn't always display it so broadly.

As always, Lan Wangji is made to attend conferences and meetings with the other Clans since he is still part of the main family of Lan. And as per Lan rules, spouces are premitted to have input on the Clans choises. Therefore, Wei Wuxian is also there. The conference this time, is at Gusu and as imagined, Lan Qiren isn't exactly too happy with Wei Wuxian's attendance. It just so happened at there were not enough cushions at the tables to sit on.

So Lan Wangji did the only responsable thing a spouce could and planted Wei Wuxian is his lap. Which made Lan Qiren and Jiang Cheng very unhappy and Wei Wuxian very flustered. But the meeting started, they were a good while in and Wei Wuxian was getting fidgety. He couldn't sit still and kept moving and shifting which wasn't disruptive but it was a small problem.
