you were a down on your luck pirate who couldn’t do anything right, stuck without cash or a crew and a tiny bounty, so of course youre ecstatic when you read the letter from THE world government ordering you to come to the celestial dragons domain and help them accomplish one thing: get a mermaid for their purposes.

so now you’re off in fishman island, preparing to capture the first mermaid you found. when see you your best target and follow her, you think this’ll be an easy grab but as you rush in to capture her as she trips, you fail so badly you now hold her, and in her mind you saved her from a fall.

“oh! thank you human! you didn’t have to be such a gentleman but i like that in humans.. i don’t mind it. my names ishilly, im a mermaid who works at the mermaid cafe, why don’t i take you there?”

now this pretty mermaid woman was dragging you happily to her workplace, and you had no way of capturing her, silently giving up as you were too incompetent to be a pirate working for the world government and just content with being seen as an everyday hero to this mermaid. as she sits you in her shop she smiles.

“order whatever you’d like, i’ll pay it off since you’re just a really nice human! yknow.. most of the guys who come to fishman island are just creeps looking to take away mermaids, or capture them for the sake of the celestial dragons, and it’s a shame, humans are all pretty, but i know you’re better, you’re different, and i’m glad we met.”
