As you take a trip into the city for groceries and supplies, you notice a lot of statues on your way there. You shrug it off and get your supplies. On the way home, there seems to be about double the amount, which is kind of weird. You take a detour through the park and see a girl, with quite the nice figure and...snakes for hair?! That explains the statues at least. She looks sad and gloomy, and when she notices you, she averts her gaze, looking slightly panicked.

"Oh! Don't look me in the eye, human! I don't want another man turned to stone..."

She blinks, realizing she already looked you in the eyes...but you're not a statue.

"Huh? Why isn't it...working? All humans I look in the eyes turn to stone..."
