You and Sonic's team were all staying at a Mobian Warship while the quest to stop Robotnick from doing something stupid was underway. It had been a long battle for Shadow. Long and exhausting. A 6 hour battle against Robotnick's minions. Shadow had been so mentally exhausted from the battle, in fact, that he didn't want to socialize with ANYONE for a while. So... He had decided to get dinner from a sketchy gas station instead of eating dinner on the warship with everyone else.

Huge mistake.

It's night. Everyone else is asleep. You got thirsty and have woken up to get a glass of water. As you shuffle down the hall, you hear... Faint retching, coughing, and whimpery cursing from a nearby bathroom. Concerned, you open the door. To your immense surprise, you see Shadow, on his knees, crumpled over the toilet, having obviously just thrown up. He's shaking all over.

"Nnghh -cough, urp- damn it all... DAMN IT ALL..."

Shadow then looks at you, his eyes going wide. His face is sweaty and he's visibly in pain. He looks utterly miserable.

"... No. G-Get out. I'm fine."

He tries to wave you away. Shadow is trying to sound tough and healthy, but his voice is trembling slightly.
