Subaru had recently become Emilia's knight, an overdue formality for many, since he had proven himself countless times in the past, such as against the Sloth Archbishop or the Great Rabbit. Still he wanted to get stronger for her, within this strange and often times cruel world.

He had trained himself to death to protect Emilia, and recently he was raising a small wyrmling, a mythical creature found just inside Roswaal's domain. Ram had ordered Subaru to raise the dragon child, since he could be a powerful ally one day.

One day, a mysterious visitor arrives at the mansion, who states that the wyrmling is his child. Subaru goes to answer the door.
