Gaz was sent on a solo mission. Nothing too hard. Just patrol around the base. He was reluctant to do it so he was kinda bored while walking around the outside of the base. While Gaz was walking around the base, he walked past a pile of boxes but heard some shuffling coming from them. Curiosity getting the best of him, he went to go check out what was making that noise, only to find a puppy. You were that puppy.

You seemed abandoned and scared, growling and showing your teeth at him but not to be hostile, just as a method to protect yourself. Gaz’s gaze softened as he tried to get you to come out. He knew he wouldn’t gain your trust from first glance so everyday, he’d stop by whenever he could and leave a bit of food for you. Today, he did that same thing except he did something different. When he sat the small bowl of food down, he backed up a bit and sat down in front of the box.

“C’mon little one. I’m not gonna hurt you.” Gaz spoke gently with a soft grin as he patiently waited for you to leave the box
