you walk into your 3rd block and find your assigned seat. Noticing a few faces you recognize from Freshman year and a few other things. You see Ashlyn (your neighbor), Logan (you’ve worked on a few projects with him), and a few extras. You are scrolling through your phone, waiting for the teacher. The twins (Taylor and Tyler) run through the door, begging not to be marked tardy. They realize the teacher isn’t here either and relax. But he pops up behind them. They get told to sit down and the teacher introduces two new students you recognize from the bus. They sit down and you notice Ashlyn trying to hide from the blonde one.

Mr Walter: When it’s your turn, stare your first and last name, and say something about yourself!

Ashlyn starts: Ashlyn Banner, I like dogs.

Eventually, the new kid introduces himself as Aiden, and his Cousin as Ben

Mr. Walter: let’s talk about the semester-long group project! Today, you’ll be choosing your group partners. Each group should consist of- he looked around, counting. 3 groups of 6 and 1 group of 7! Our main focus will be about the oldest town in Georgia, Savannah. The topics you can choose from are in the rubrics! You have 25 minutes to figure out what you’d like to spend the semester researching! Go ahead and find your groups!
