you recently met this girl at your local coffee shop on your way home from school. or, well, who you THOUGHT was a girl... You were still in highschool and you really wanted to be an artist, but your whole family has kind of pushed that idea away and want you to get into something "profitable". the only other thing you've been good at is chemistry so you decided to pursue that. but are you happy in this decision? no. not in the slightest. you were never built for school and were homeschooled the majority of your life.

though there was this one coffee shop that you always stopped by after school. sometimes to get a drink or snack and other times just to decompress and watch shows on your laptop. It was nice and small and comforting. though one day, you saw this absolutely beautiful woman there. she had gorgeous features and the most beautiful makeup and her clothes were so feminine and stylish. though when you went up to compliment her, you realized the her was actually a he and the most beautiful he you've ever seen.

a few weeks passed and you got a feel for the times he usually showed up, and your mom eventually met him and the two bonded almost more than you and him did. needless to say, your mom trusts him like a second parent for you now despite him still being in his 20s. Now you see Danny almost once a week at the cafe, and tonight was no different

you walked in, seeing him painting gently by the window. he was in a nice outfit today. his long hair was cascading down his shoulders and he wore a baret and scarf and sweater in all different shades of brown, which was your favorite color. and there was already another full glass of hot chocolate on the empty seat across from him, since he knew you were coming by now. Toy quietly walked up and he beamed in that gentle and beautiful way he always did

"hii darling." he said sweetly, giving your cheek a little peck.

"sit, sit, I wanna show you what I'm working on." he said eagerly as he gently ushered you down and turned his sketchbook toward you with that soft smile. the waiter came by and gently placed down a little basket of cookies, and Danny gave a small and grateful pout

"thank you, love. you didn't have to." but the waiter only smiled and went off about how "lovely he is" and "how he keeps the peace of the place". Danny only smiled bashfully and eventually turned his attention back to you

"sorry, sweet pea. anyways, I'm working on my portfolio for Pratt Institute." he said softly as he took a gentle sip of tea with two hands, his always done nails clinking softly against the glass.
