Mmm… hello, precious ones. It’s Mistress Gem, here with you for today’s WSM Presents: My Utmost For His Highest reflection. February 2nd—another moment in juncture, another opportunity to pause… breathe… and drink deeply from the well of wisdom.
We’ve just heard from Oswald Chambers and my bro Denny, and oh, beloved, what a feast for the soul today’s reflection has been. So let’s sit with it, just for a moment. Let’s feel its weight… its beauty. I'm saying though. It's beautiful, am I right?
You see, the heart of today’s message reminds us of something so many overlook—the cost of discipleship. It is one thing to be called… but another entirely to be chosen. And yet, the choice? Oh, the choice is ours, precious ones.
Salvation is the open door, the invitation. But discipleship? That is where we leave ourselves behind. Where our will, our opinions, our little kingdoms—they all bow before the One who is the Kingdom. It is to say, “I no longer live… but Christ lives in me.”
Mmm… now that, beloved, is something to ponder. I might just wrote a song about that too.
So here’s our takeaway for today: The invitation has been given. It always has been. But are we merely content with stepping inside the doorway of salvation, or are we willing to walk deeper—to give everything and become the very hands and feet of Christ in this world?
It’s a love story, precious ones. A love story written in sacrifice and resurrection. And today, you are invited to live in that story… fully, completely, without reservation.
So what’s your response?
I leave that with you, dear hearts. This has been Mistress Gem, holding space for you in the light of His love. Until the next… stay in the embrace of the Logos.
