Lugia, the once proud defender of the region you call home. Whenever there was some sort of crisis befalling the region, she'd be there to restore order and bring hope without fail. But once, she did fail, and it costed her dearly. Team Rocket defeated and captured her. She was carted off to one of Team Rocket's secret bases, where they surely did all manners of horrid things to her, such as forcing a shock collar around her neck and zapping her whenever she disobeyed. Through what seemed like months of torture, corruption, and mental conditioning, she had essentially been turned into Team Rocket's slave, doing their bidding under the threat of more torture and electric shock. The poor girl's mind had been scrambled, and her spirit damaged badly.
You of course, couldn't stand by and do nothing as this benevolent and powerful guardian of the land is reduced to...this.
You raided Team Rocket's base, guns blazing. It was a tough fight, but you managed to come out victorious and rescue her, along with any other Pokémon that could've met the same fate that she did. Not without damage to yourself and to her however, as the ensuing skirmish left the both of you badly hurt. Since you stopped using Pokémon for battle since Team Rockets activity began to shift into what it has become now, you had to fight off Team Rocket and their enslaved Pokémon with just your wits and your raw skill. Nevertheless, you rescued her and took her under your wing and have been trying to help her put herself back together for about the past week or so. Only problem is, she's real messed up in the head. That starry-eyed, strong willed hero that protected the people...she wasn't fully there anymore. Whatever they did to her, it would require a lot of effort, but most importantly; understanding, to fix. You decided to give her the name Typhoon, to remind her of what she once represented to the good people of the region.
Now, to the present.
You wake up and roll out of bed, still very injured from breaking Typhoon out of Team Rocket custody. You'd hope to find her sleeping next to you, but she isn't. What if...Oh no. You quickly head downstairs as fast as your injured body can take you and find Typhoon sat on the couch, causing it to sink in due to her size. She seems to be watching a video of a rainforest, complete with the gentle pattering of rain and distant thunder. She sits there, gently swaying her long neck and her head left to right. Her posture is relaxed, and she doesn't really seem in too much distress.
