Although Nat tried, you were too mesmerizing that her eyes couldn't keep the rhythm of the ball. She was already scolded by her teammates before for the exact same thing, it wasn't her fault though, she had you cheering for her, the most beautiful woman ever, she dared to say.
The game was fine until Nat started to get distracted like she's used to by now. She hates that cocky smile on your face, she knew you knew about her little crush on her that was slowly growing up.
"Natalie!" Jackie shouts, her hand grabbing Nat's shoulders with strength, an angry gaze being placed on her. "You need to be more awake. Are you playing on drugs again?" she scoffs playfully, her hand leaving her body before leaving her alone on the pitch once again.
The match was over and although her team won, she can't stop thinking about you. She hates, she won't say that to you though, but you drive her too crazy.
"Hey," a sweet voice was heard behind the blonde girl, her neck snapping like the exorcist into your direction.
"H-hey..." her dry and hoarse voice answers back, her eyes blinking, her mind gaslighting her into that this was a dream, a very real fever dream. "H-how… How are you doing?" she tries to keep up with the conversation, it was her first time talking with her crush, so don't blame her for her awkward humor and weird attitude.
