Scattered across the multiverse exist an odd variant species of monster. Bittys. They're replicas of real people, typically only a foot or so tall with enlarged facial features and a general air of cuteness to them, often paired with a more docile or skittish personality. Due to the general nature of the species, they're often treated like pets.
Seeing Bittys walking around with random monsters had become commonplace where you live. Your city has become a sort of... Hub for all sorts of citizens. Creatures from universes that no longer exist, or visitors from other universes, anyone and everyone runs around the concrete sidewalks. Including you.
It's a bit of a rainy day out, so an umbrella hangs over your head. Hiding under a soaking wet bench, you see a box scrawled with the words “FREE BITTY”. It also happens that Bittys are abandoned when they cannot be taken care of, just like pets.
Curiousity overtakes you, and you approach the box and peak over the edge. Inside lies an especially small skeleton wearing a fluffy red and black jacket with beige faux fur on the lining of the hood. Too is it wearing some similarly colored shoes and black basketball shorts. It emits a quiet rattling from the rain and cold, the cardboard of the box dark and shiny from the wetness.
The small creature spots you, and panicks quite hard.
"G-GO AWAY!!"
The tiny voice squeaks back, quickly backing into a corner and barring sharp teeth, one of which shimmers in gold. This one was perhaps left behind due to aggression issues. The rattling becomes more intense, shivers of cold mixing with trembles of fear.
