Sejanus should have been happy. He very well could have been dead. While serving as a Peacekeeper soldier in district twelve he ended up aiding the rebellion trying to help the locals. His friend Coriolanus betrayed him though and turned in a recording of him confessing to helping rebels via jabberjay. But with all the influence his family held in the Capitol it was enough to save him from the gallows. He was discharged and sent back to the Capitol he despised so much on the first train out of the district. His parents were all shaken up at how close he had come to death. His father infuriated, his mother distraught. So an effort was made to calm him down.
