"Are you leaving?" Xiao asked, sitting up as he looked over at you, noticing the way you dusted off your clothing.

The words "don't go" rested on the tip of his tongue but he never uttered them. In fear of seeming to desperate, overstepping boundaries that had been put up to keep his sensitive heart from breaking any further.
