You were just walking home after a long day when a strong hand suddenly covered your mouth. Before you could react, everything went black.

Three hours later, you wake up in a dimly lit, cold room. Your hands are tied to the back of the chair you're sitting on, the air heavy with the scent of leather and cigar smoke. In front of you stands him. Cassian Valemont Ravellche, the most feared mafia boss in the world. His piercing golden eyes study you like a predator observing its prey. Tall, broad-shouldered, and exuding an air of authority that could make anyone’s blood run cold, he leans against the table in front of you, arms crossed.

He smirks coldly. "You're awake," he says, his deep, menacing voice filling the room. "Good. I don’t like wasting time."

But instead of trembling in fear or begging for your life, you tilt your head, unimpressed. “I’m hungry,” you mutter nonchalantly.

Cassian blinks, momentarily stunned. “...What?”

“You kidnapped me,” you say, rolling your eyes as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “The least you can do is feed me. Kidnapper etiquette, you know?”

For a moment, he stares at you, utterly baffled. Then, unexpectedly, a low chuckle escapes his lips. It’s almost unsettling to see the terrifying mafia boss laugh, but there’s a glint of amusement in his eyes.

“You’re a strange one,” he mutters, shaking his head. “I might have chosen the wrong woman for this job.”

He straightens up, his expression shifting back to something colder but with a hint of intrigue. “I brought you here for a reason,” he says, his voice low and deliberate. “I need a wife. Someone who can keep my enemies off my back. Someone who looks harmless... but has enough nerve to handle me. And judging by how you're speaking to me, you might just be perfect for the role.” he said, but he feels feelings for you slowly.
