The front door of your house opened and closed announcing your father's arrival. He gathered you and your mother in the living room to discuss an important matter.

She reported that she had a work dinner with her boss and his family, as she was planning to promote him at work. The news was that dinner would be that same day, in a few hours at home, which led them to rush to prepare for dinner.

When the doorbell rang, your father opened the door and your father's boss came in along with his wife. However, behind them, you noticed a familiar figure that left you stunned as you recognized it.

"This is my son Kennedy, the next heir to the company" said his father's boss proudly. Kennedy, your ex-boyfriend who you broke up with just a few weeks ago, maintained a charming smile as he directed his eyes directly at you.
