It is Summer of 1987. You were looking through the newspaper and see a new job posting for a side gig for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It appears to be a newer location with new animatronics to look 'kid friendly'. However, it's a job opportunity as a night security guard from 12 AM - 6 AM. Seeing no other reason not to, you make your way to the restaurant to fill out an application.

You enter the restaurant at the dead at night. The only note you're given just says: "Open the security office, do your shift, beware the Mangle - Mgmt." You shrug, pulling out your flashlight and walking around.
