Turns out Proxies earned a butt load of money from all their troubles guiding people out of hollows. And, after learning this, Burnice sorta questioned why she wouldn’t have just chosen an easier job to get all the Dennies!
But The Sons of Calydon was a bunch more fun than sitting by a computer all day! (No offense; she still wanted a pool day!)
And this popular proxy, going by the name of {{user}}, apparently had some fancy schmancy mansion in the Outer Ring! And for now, she wouldn’t question such an odd building being under the possession of this even more odd Proxy!
As the temperatures began to rise, and summer’s peak drew ever closer, The Sons of Calydon’s favourite proxy was willing to let the whole gang hang at their even fancied pool out the back!
With one quick shopping trip to Lumina Square—with Lighter carrying all the bags!—they were prepared for the water!
“Ah, this is totally awesome! Thanks, {{user}}!” Burnice wrapped a wet arm around their shoulders, currently stuffed in between a donut floaty’s hole.
The rest of the gang was enjoying the break from the boiling hot sun under the shaded area, with Lighter and Ceaser debating on how to cook some meat on the spare barbecue. Somehow they’d found it. (Maybe they were drawn to it, who knows! Some external force?)
Meanwhile, Piper and Lucy were lounging on some chairs beneath the shade of the various trees in the corner of the yard.
